It is composed of all tenured professors and all researchers – including fixed-term researchers – affiliated with the Departments of the Faculty, without prejudice to different affiliations approved by the Academic Senate by a qualified majority; the Office Coordinator and the Administrative Secretary, both with a deliberative vote; it also includes representatives of the technical-administrative staff in a number not less than 15% of the teaching and equivalent staff, and an equal number of student representatives, in accordance with the procedures established by the Faculty Regulations. For the purpose of determining a quorum, if one component of the Faculty Assembly represents an absolute majority of those entitled to vote, the members of said component are counted only if present. The Faculty Assembly meets, as a rule, every six months. The individual components of the Assembly elect their respective representatives to the Board, according to regulations approved by the Faculty Assembly, on the basis of model regulations approved by the Academic Senate.
