The Advisory Board (CI) is a permanent consultative body established to promote the exchange of needs, knowledge and expertise between the worlds of employment, scientific and technological research, industry and culture, and higher education. It was created in response to universities’ need to develop degree programmes that reflect the educational requirements expressed by external stakeholders. This initiative aims to align educational provision with demand, ensuring that curricula meet the area’s actual cultural and economic needs.
More specifically, the Advisory Board seeks to identify career and employment opportunities for graduates, as well as the educational and training needs expressed by industry, services and the professions, with particular reference to the socioeconomic and economic context relevant to each degree programme. It also assesses whether the programmes’ planned provision is consistent with the needs of the labour market.
