PROCEDURES FOR EXTRAORDINARY EXAMS

All the information concerning the extraordinary exams for the programmes L-24 and LM-51 are uploaded in the download section EXTRAORDINARY EXAMS.
The Google Form for the requests of extraordinary exams will be active only during the periods of reservation to the extraordinary exams.

WE REMIND YOU THAT YOU NEED TO FILL ONE FORM FOR EACH REQUESTED EXAM

RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR THE EXAMS IN THE PROGRAMMES OF PSYCHOLOGY
Access to the extraordinary exams is allowed to students that have completed all the activities of the course, even if they did not regularly attend the lectures. Activated laboratories in certain DM 270 courses necessarily require activities, for which teachers can ask for and evaluate mandatory attendance.
Admission to tests in progress and integrative activities can be granted by the teacher on the basis of regularity of attendance to courses.
As a rule, exams must be taken after the ending of the lectures. Thus:
- it is not possible to take exams for years subsequent to the one in which one is enrolled.
- within each year, it is not possible to take after the ending of the first didactic period exams relative to courses that will be activated in the second didactic period.
- for exams of previous years it is possible to make use of the scheduled sessions at the end of the corresponding courses, or of the recovery sessions.
Anticipating an exam before the lectures without having the title and prior authorization involves the cancellation of the grade. For the anticipation of the exams, follow the instructions given in the “Manifesto degli studi” for a.y. 2018-19.
The general calendar with the periods in which the exam sessions take place is published at the bottom of the page; the programs and methods of each exam are published on the web pages relative to the Degree Courses.
The calendar of the sessions of the various exams within each period and the locations and times of the exams are published in the "Documentation" menu on the right.

EXAMS OF COURSES SELECTED BY THE STUDENT
For guidance in identifying elective courses (i.e., “insegnamenti a scelta”), see the relevant pages of the Student's Guide.
In any case:
- it is not possible to choose courses with an identical or almost identical title to those included in the course of study, even if they have different texts or are taught in another Faculty;
- for the exam program you cannot choose the same or very similar courses to courses of your curriculum, even if they have a different title or are taught in another Faculty.
In general, for choosing the exams, see the “Manifesto degli Studi” for a.y. 2018/2019, precisely in Article 40 (Profit Tests).

BOOKING THROUGH INFOSTUD
To take any exam, students, both enrolled in Medicine and Psychology courses and those of other Faculties, must have booked through the "Sapienza" INFOSTUD system:
For all exam sessions, reservations are open about one month before the exam date and are closed without delay 5 days before, except for exams that require the use of optical reading questionnaires for which reservations are closed early (10 days before).
Since some exams have similar or identical names, but belong to different degree courses, when booking, the student is responsible for correctly identifying the exam to be taken, checking the name and codes of the teaching and the degree course, credits, and the teacher.

ATTENTION: The infostud system does not allow exams to be taken by those who are not up to date with the payment of taxes, and blocks their booking; it is therefore necessary for the student to respect the payment deadlines. If the student does not remember their password, they can contact the Student Secretariat for assistance. As a guarantee, students must print the booking form for each exam for which they are booked and bring it with them on the day of the exam. The form confirms the booking and does not certify that the exam has been taken.

METHOD OF TAKING THE EXAMS AND WARNINGS
Students who are up to date with the payment of fees and with the requirements for each course are admitted to the exams.
On the day of the exam, the student must arrive on time at the scheduled time and classroom, carrying an identity document with a photo.
Students whose identity cannot be ascertained cannot be admitted to taking the exam.
The exam takes place as indicated in the Student Guide: written with multiple choice answers, written with open questions, exercises, oral, term paper, etc., as established by the teacher, in his own didactic autonomy. Exceptional and justified discrepancies must be authorized by the Presidency.
The chairman of the exam commission may limit access and presence at the exam site to only students booked for the test and, in case of written tests, deny access or exit before the conclusion of all tests. The oral questions and the texts of the written tests are subject to copyright and cannot be recorded, copied, preserved, reproduced or preserved in any way.
If the student needs a certificate of attendance, they must download the Work Permit document from the Faculty website and bring it with them on the day of the exam. The certificates are signed by the chairman of the commission at the end of the test and do not bear any indication of the outcome or the grade obtained.

ATTENTION: ANY VIOLATIONS OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE EXAMINATION BOARD WILL RESULT IN THE CANCELLATION OF THE TEST OF THE STUDENT WHO COMMITS IT. ETHICAL VIOLATIONS (PLAGIOUS, ETC.) LEAD TO THE CANCELLATION OF THE TEST AND FURTHER DISCIPLINARY SANCTIONS.

PUBLICATION OF RESULTS AND VERBALIZATION OF THE EXAMS
For all courses of study courses in Psychology, the University procedure is used for the electronic recording of exams, which ensures timely updating of the curricula, and saves time for students, teachers and administrative staff.

Publication of the results and possible renunciation of the grade.
As quickly as possible, and in any case no later than 10 days from the end of the test, the teacher informs the students of the result obtained, publishing the grade on Infostud. As soon as the teacher has entered the grade, the student is immediately notified by an email sent by the Infostud system to their email address @studenti.uniroma1.it and can view the result by accessing their personal website in Infostud, section Exams. in the list "Exams registered via the web not yet certified" (“Esami registrati via web non ancora certificati”).
The student who accepts the grade must do nothing. After the teacher has closed the report with a digital signature, the exam will go into the student’s career and the student will receive a specific final communication via an email sent by Infostud to their address @studenti.uniroma1.it.
The student who intends to renounce the grade must follow the procedure below:
(a) download the appropriate form for renouncing the exam grade from the faculty website;
(b) send it completed, signed and scanned, mandatorily attaching a photocopy of the document;
(c) send it exclusively through the following email address: rinuncemedepsi@uniroma1.it

ATTENTION: RENUNCIATION FORMS WITHOUT COPY OF THE IDENTITY DOCUMENT ARE NOT CONSIDERED VALID.

Students can renounce the grade within 5 days, including holidays, from the notification of the grades. The list of renunciations is sent by the Teaching Secretariat to the teacher, who updates the student's position in the minutes, eliminating the previously entered grade and replacing it with the words "Renunciation". It is recommended to keep a copy of the email sent for cancellation. In fact, if a student takes the exam again without being able to prove the renunciation, the second grade is automatically canceled and the first grade reported is considered valid, except in cases in which the student is able to demonstrate the correct submission of the renunciation of the first grade including the receipt of sending to the Didactic Secretariat within the deadline.

ATTENTION: THE STUDENT CANNOT ASK FOR REINCLUDING THE GRADE TO WHICH THEY HAVE RENOUNCED.

ORAL EXAMS
For oral exams the same rules apply as for exclusively written exams, but the grade is accepted or rejected on the spot. After the teacher has closed the report with a digital signature, the exam will go into the student’s career and the student will receive a specific final communication via an email sent by Infostud to their address @studenti.uniroma1.it.
For clarification, students can contact the Didactic Secretariat during office hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10.00-12.00.

BOOKING, VERBALIZATION AND E-MAIL SAPIENZA
The registration system is integrated with the @studenti.uniroma1.it e-mail address assigned to all students enrolled in the Faculty with the following functions:
- every time the student makes a reservation for an exam, a confirmation e-mail is sent to their e-mail address (surname.IDnumber@studenti.uniroma1.it);
- each teacher can send communications related to the exam (transfers, shifts, etc.) to all booked students who will receive them only in their @studenti.uniroma1.it mailbox;
- every time the teacher reports the grade of an exam on the electronic report, a notification with the reported grade and the confirmation of the verbalization will be sent to the student in their mailbox @studenti.uniroma1.it;

ATTENTION: ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO USE AND CONSULT FREQUENTLY THEIR OWN E-MAIL @studenti.uniroma1.it
SECRETARIATS AND TEACHERS MAY NOT REPLY TO EMAILS FROM OTHER ACCOUNTS.
