As of November 1, 2010, pursuant to the new Statute of Sapienza University, the Faculties of Psychology I and II, together with the Second Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, merged to form the new Faculty of Medicine and Psychology. While respecting the distinct identity and autonomy of both academic cultures, their common ground lies in a shared objective: the successful and complete fulfillment of the individual in all physical, psychological, and social aspects. We are convinced that both research and teaching will benefit from the added value generated by this cultural approach.
